Acupuncture is a technique in which practitioners stimulate specific points on the body by inserting thin needles through the skin. It is one of the practices used in traditional Chinese medicine. In my opinion, acupuncture is most helpful for chronic pain (knee, neck, joint, back etc.).
I don’t know if Acupuncture aided in my healing, but it absolutely helped me relax. Come to think of it, when I was having issues with my period after first going off birth control, my acupuncturist was able to get it back on track with just one session. All in all, I would recommend trying it if you’re struggling with health issues. You should go at least once a week for at least three months to see any sort of results.
